This splendid two-tiered plaza serves as both a park and an access corridor along the Truckee River in Reno, NV. Details of this project include gleaming polished granite from Canada and Brazil, water features and fountains festooned with bronze sculptures, ornate lighting, pavilions, trestles and landscaping. Construction began with extensive remediation of petroleum-contaminated soil. Tight restrictions on time and space required detailed scheduling and careful coordination between craftsmen and subcontractors.
