The project included construction of a Pedestrian Bridge, widening the Ferry St. Bridge and Eugene Viaduct, constructing a bridge at Centennial and a bridge at I-105. The Pedestrian Bridge is a five span cable suspension bridge, 179m long with a main span of 103m over the Willamette River, connecting Alton Baker Park to the Coburg Road corridor. The Ferry Street Bridge was widened over the eight spans, 242m long by adding 18 new footings, columns and bridge abutments. The East Eugene Viaduct was widened 4m on the east and 5m on the west, 315m long with 27 bents founded on 49 drilled shafts to support columns and cross beams. The Centennial Blvd U’xing and the I-105 Ramp U’xing were both 14m long cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab bridges. Ornamental railings were installed on the Ferry Street Bridge, the Viaduct and surrounding bike paths.
