Safety at Work with Mowat construction

Safety is a core value at Mowat Construction Company. The need to keep our people safe permeates our entire organization. While priorities change, safety will not be compromised. Maintaining a Zero Accident environment on our worksites remains our highest priority. We achieve this through rigorous training programs; by employing best work practices and by employing innovative people. Our programs require all Team Members to use a hands-on approach to solving safety problems. One example is Mowat's Rigging Safety Training course, developed and taught by Mowat personnel. This course tactically addresses the needs and best work practices for the use of modern rigging in heavy bridge construction. Mowat riggers must pass this half day course before working with any rigging in the field. We understand that effective safety programs go well beyond traditional training programs. We strive to train and mentor Team Members in the practice of clear, open and honest communication at all levels of the construction process.
